Who's to blame?

I wanted to speak about the events of March 28th 2023 in Nashville TN. The 28 year old who killed 3 children and 3 adults at a christian school. The shooter had drawn detailed maps of the school, showing entry points to the building. Almost immediately after the shooting the press, the public and the politicians started questioning the gun laws and second amendment. In the last few years gun laws in Tennessee have become less strict. I must state clearly up front that this shooter slipped between the cracks in being allowed to purchase any firearms , I must also state clearly up front that I have never seen or heard of a single firearm that rose up and decided of itself to murder a person. When Cain killed Abel, God did not confiscate all the rocks, instead God blamed Cain and punished him. I think that it would be wise for us to tread carefully when speaking of more restrictions. I believe if we look carefully we will find that most of these cries for more regulation and restriction are coming from the left, socialist, Marxist, and globalist. Those who are looking to control us and enslave us. Our second amendment rights were ascribed to us in our constitution and bill of rights. There can be no doubt that those documents were inspired by God to the founders of this nation. Men like Goerge Washington, Ben Franklin, John Adams, Samuel Adams, Benjamin Rush, Benjamin Harrison, and many more. Men who put their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor in God's hands to secure freedom for you and me. These men knew that without God's blessing and guidance a nation can not stand. So through our Creator a nation was born. In the last ten years there has been 180 school shootings and 356 victims. We must realize that while these were and are all incredibly horrible events, they represent a microcosm of a seriously deteriorating society. We are living out the fall of Western Civilization. Knowing this does not make any of these murders less horrible. These are the things that happen in a self destructing society. We have to place the blame and guilt where it rightfully belongs. On the individuals who premeditate and choose to commit these crimes against other human beings created in God's image.

Matthew 24:21-22 "For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. Unless those days be cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short."

We must be able to view these school shootings in the context of the destruction of America, from within.

As our hearts bleed for the slain and our prayers go to their families and communities we must maintain perspective. Only through Jesus Christ is there freedom and salvation.

Benjamin Franklin said "Those who would give up liberty to purchase security, deserves neither liberty or safety and will lose both."

2 Corinthians 3:17 "Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty."

John 14:27 " Peace I leave you; my peace I give you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful."

In conclusion I ask that we have compassion in these terrible times of tragedy. Let us find our peace, safety and salvation in our only and true savior Jesus Christ, not in in the government, men that only mean to do us harm and enslave us.

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for peace, and a future of hope."
